I recently bought an Ikea Detolf along with the LED Dioder lights. The Dioder were not bright and I did not know it was a very warm yellow light. I recently saw this on Youtube who had installed this in their Detolf and bought one myself.
Installation was pretty easy, I used their double-sided tape to install all four LED lights on each shelf of my Detolf. I put all the wires along the side of the metal frame of the Detolf and used zip-ties to channel it neatly to the bottom. I just wish the wires a bit longer because I wanted the wires to be long enough to go through from top to bottom and out of the shelf for a neat look. The hub that connects all four wires had to be installed inside because of the short wires. It kinda makes it look messy at the bottom with all the wires bunched up together on the bottom shelf instead of hiding it to the side or in the back.
Overall the LED lights are extremely bright, even in daytime and for that I still give it 5 stars. I did notice this is an upgraded version of their product, which they have frosted casing instead of clear (so it doesn't yellow) and added 3 extra LED bulbs to increase the brightness. I'm glad they listened to previous complaints about this product and made it even better. I love this LED light and it's PERFECT for those who owns a Detolf and wants to install them. As a fellow figure collector, I approve and recommend to many others.
